Marketing Scene in Pakistan

From Mobile phone packages ads to bikes and even banks ads, a beautiful model is all we need in Pakistan to launch a new marketing campaign. There is no need of creative ads to grab more attentions of the customers. All you need is the face of top female Pakistani or (indian) model for your whole marketing campaign.

I’m not saying that Pakistani ad companies are not creative or incompetent, The point that I want to make is Pakistani marketing scene is dominated by the non-professionals and armatures, Who are not aware of modern marketing practices or Pakistani people like this kinds of ads and understanding a creative ad is very hard for them because more then 60 percent people in Pakistan are living in rural areas and half of the population is illiterate.

But Still, Does it make sense to use Female models without any reason? I mean, check the quality of above posted ads and you’ll realize that they are poor in quality and sense less but still, companies are doing good with them.

Take the example of Ufone, Which is the most popular Pakistani cell phone company. There ads contain humour and fun element, at least they are doing something different then the crowd (at least in the marketing department).

Final Words:

Pakistan is the country where audience like descriptive and detailed ads similar to Colgate ads and market is not ready for creative ads.
